Rich’s Mighty Fine Burgers and Grub began as a street food cart originally operating as “Rich’s Corner Grill” in downtown Salt Lake City in the fall of 2007.

After tiring of upper-management and partnership positions for over 25 years in the corporate restaurant world, Rich decided to call it quits and do something different. What, was unknown, until a visit to Boston sparked the answer. Roaming the streets, he encountered numerous street food carts all providing similar foods with different flairs. They were literally clustered along side one another with their owners talking smack, making money, and most importantly, having a great time.

After that, evenings were often spent with Rich playing around with menu ideas and options for starting the first non-Mexican food street cart in Salt Lake City. Upon returning to Salt Lake City, he custom designed and built the cart nicknamed  “The Beast”, and began this great adventure.

Rich has built a loyal following and customer base by providing the freshest ingredients available including fresh ground beef, homemade sides, fresh baked proprietary buns, fresh produce all provided by local independent businesses.
